UEFA Champions League Top Scorers

The UEFA Champions League was known as the European Champions Cup or European Cup from 1956-1992.

It was originally a knockout competition open solely to champion clubs from European Leagues. The tournament expanded during the 1990’s to incorporate a round-robin group phase and more clubs.

In April 2017, Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score 100 Champions League goals, and is currently the all-time goals leader with 105, ahead of Lionel Messi (94), Raul (71) and Ruud Van Nistelrooy (56).
