EPL Golden Boot Winners

Premier League Top Scorers By Year

The EPL (English Premier League) Golden Boot is awarded to the player that scores the most goals during the EPL season.

The award was called the Carling Golden Boot from 1994-2001, the Barclaycard Golden Boot from 2001-2004. Since 2015 it has been called the Barclays Golden Boot.

Winners of the award are given £1,000 for each goal they score to give to a charity of their choice.

Teddy Sheringham won the inaugural Golden Boot award in 1993, with Tierry Henry winning the award on 4 occasions, the most of any player.
