NHL Stanley Cup & Final MVP Winners

NHL Stanley Cup Finals

The Stanley Cup is awarded annually to the NHL Championship winning team.

The award was originally donated by the Governor General of Canada, Lord Stanley of Preston, in 1892 and is the oldest trophy in Northern American sports.

From 1914 to 2017, the Stanley Cup has been awarded on 99 occasions to 23 different teams, 18 of which are still active in the NHL today.
